The brake light didn’t work but the tail light did. It should be plug and play according to the website. After exhausting a few hours of my time I had the service department at Ken & Joes, where I bought my bike, try to trouble shoot it and they found a few error codes so I uninstalled it so the bike would work again. Project9 has great support and is sending my a new kit. Hopefully this one works!
